Disable Session Restore in Firefox

I find the session restore feature in firefox very handy. One of my friend pointed me out it's flaw. It's flaw lies when we use a public computer and a improper system shutdown occurs. Next time your session gets exposed to a new user. Here is the solution to the problem:-

  • In the address bar of firefox type about:config
  • In the filter section type browser.sessionstore
  • Set the value of browser.sessionstore.enabled to false
  • Set the value of browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash to false
Huraaah, you are done. Now restart the browser and surf tension free.
